1.When Lance Armstrong began winning the Tour de France in 1999, he was celebrated as a hero that beat the odds to not only survive cancer, but also to become a world-class athlete. Now, it is clear that he was a fraud.

2.This week, Armstrong finally gave an interview to Oprah Winfrey on the accusations against him that he doped heavily during his cycling career. The interview is to be aired on Thursday. Winfrey has confirmed reports that Armstrong admits to having doped in the interview.

4.Last year, Armstrong was stripped of all seven of the Tour de France titles he won. For years, he had been able to hide the fact that he was using performance enhancing drugs.

8.Many members of Armstrong's team have reported that there was great pressure to use performance enhancing drugs. Frankie Andreu took EPO because he realized that he couldn't keep up without it.
